Our New Temple
Be Part of History!
Early in 2026, due to the incredible generosity of an American donor, we were able to purchase a new building as a home for Orthodox Christianity in South Wales.
For more than a hundred years, the Greek Orthodox community has offered the only dedicated Orthodox place of worship in this historically Orthodox part of the world. What this means, though, is that large swathes of South Wales have never had access to the Gospel as it is known and lived in Orthodox Christian Tradition.
The Parish of St Theodore and St Teilo understands that it has a particular vocation to rise to this challenge, and with our own temple, we seek to do so as fully, as faithfully, and as beautifully as possible.
The thing is, we have the building; it is now necessary to make it Orthodox. It is beautiful in its own right; it needs all the iconography and furnishings of a duly-appointed temple to make it Orthodox.
